Unleash your creativity

A true learning experience filled with music
Learning unfolds when genuine interest is supported by a supportive environment.
• Learning that integrates body, brain, and sound
• Technique that supports the body rather than working against it
• A learning process that cultivates autonomy and awareness
• Individuality respected in both learning and expression
Music is the movement of sound to reach the soul for the education of its virtue.

Course
Courses are shaped around individual needs, goals, and stages of development.
Classical music serves as a framework for cultivating listening, coordination, and musical understanding, supporting expressive and sustainable playing over time.

These sessions offer a collective learning environment distinct from one-to-one consultations, enriching both individual practice and teaching.
Professional Development Consultations
Individual consultations for pianists and piano teachers seeking clarity in technique, teaching, and artistic direction.
Sessions address focused questions around performance, pedagogy, and sustainable practice.
Masterclass
Small-group sessions for experienced pianists and piano teachers.
Through shared repertoire, participants deepen musical understanding through both playing and observation.
A la carte lessons
One-to-one piano lessons offered on a flexible, session-by-session basis.
Suitable for adult learners as well as advanced students seeking focused, individualized study.

Piano Fun
At MDA Piano Academy, we primarily use the Piano Fun method series,
a piano method developed in Japan with a deep respect for the natural development of the human body and mind.
Created by pianist and educator Yoshimi Ito, an Alexander Technique–certified teacher, this approach integrates an understanding of human anatomy, movement, and neuroscience into piano learning.
Rather than focusing on results alone, the Piano Fun method emphasizes healthy technique from the very beginning, allowing young children to develop musical skills in a way that supports their physical well-being, creativity, and long-term relationship with music.
Music begins where the possibilities of language end
