Registration
A thoughtful beginning
Starting piano lessons is an important step.
At MDA Piano Academy, registration is designed to be personal, thoughtful, and unrushed.
Rather than fitting students into fixed schedules, we take time to understand each individual, their background, interests, goals, and stage of development, before lessons begin.
How registration works
Registration follows a thoughtful and personal process.
1 Inquiry form submission
Begin by submitting the inquiry form with a brief introduction of yourself or your child.
2 Email response and scheduling
After we receive your form, we will contact you by email to arrange a meet and greet interview.
3 Meet and greet interview
This meeting is an opportunity for both the student and teacher to get to know each other.
We talk about lessons, learning goals, and expectations, and explore whether this studio is a good fit.
During the interview, the student will also experience a short trial lesson of approximately five to ten minutes.
This process helps ensure that each student begins lessons in a supportive and well matched learning environment.
4 Lesson placement and confirmation
If both sides feel comfortable moving forward, lesson placement and scheduling are discussed and registration is confirmed.
Scheduling
Lesson schedules are arranged on an individual basis.
Availability may vary depending on the time of year and current studio capacity.
This flexibility allows us to place students in an environment that best supports their learning and long term growth.
To secure a lesson spot, registration and payment are required. Lessons begin after payment has been completed.
