Say Hello to All the Notes: Origins of Music No. 1

When you start a brand new piece,

say hello to each single note.

A few, or more than ten,

no matter how many you have in each measure.

It’s like a new classroom you step into for the first time.

It takes time to get to know all your new friends well.

But eventually, you will know each other.

Music is the same.It takes time,

and you will get to know them all,

like saying hi, how are you? to all your friends.
