What it really means

to perform on stage

turned out to be much simpler

than I had long thought.

It was the desire

to face the music

one truly wants to make,

all the way,

and the feeling

of wanting to do it

no matter what.

The moment

when real music begins

to overflow,

with nothing unnecessary

attached to it.

It was beautiful.
