There are some performances that keep ringing in my ear and heart forever.
There are also some pieces that keep ringing in my ear and heart forever.
The former is deeply connected to a particular performer,
and the latter is connected to a certain piece.
The Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana by Pietro Mascagni holds a lot of memories for me.
Each time I hear it performed by a great artist, I’m just stunned by its own beauty and the freshness of those memories.
This opera premiered 132 years ago today in Rome.
What is your music that still sounds in your memory?
