After listening this Menuhin’s performance,
Do you call it “off the pitch” or “intonation” ?
There would be an astonish difference between those two.
Why his 3rds are so warm and sound harmoniously beautiful?
It sounds almost like as listening 2 violins?
Can you hear the difference?
To be “ a good pianist” isn’t just a “training”.
Before you learn all kind of “how to…..”,
you have to raise a good ear which is required to be a greater musician.
To achieve it, you have to listen a lot of “real” performance.
Remember,
we can only produce what we can “hear” from this majestic instrument with unlimited possibilities.
Do you hear what i hear?
